What's up with Trevor?

Kennedy Olivia - our little angel forever

Many of you know that my wife and I have been expecting our first born, and it's been amazing to receive masses of emails expressing your own excitement about the new addition to our family. After adding the "Packing our bags" post from the other day, I was overwhelmed with how many emails flooded my inbox!!

On February 20 at 11:30am, Lois gave birth to the most precious girl in the world - Kennedy Olivia. Kennedy was only with us for a very short time, and at 12:45pm she passed away.

We had a very short time with our little angel, and it hurts so much to know that we'll never get to know her and spend our life with her. But Kennedy will be loved by us forever, and she will always be our little angel.

To all of our family and friends who have spent time with us at the hospital and on the phone, thank you so much for your love. You have no idea how much it means to us.

To all of my clients who have expressed so much excitement over the past 9 month, thank you also - your kindness has been so overwhelming and I feel so incredibly blessed to have people like you in my life.

For all of you wishing to inquire about my services - please email your inquiry, and understand if I don't respond as promptly as I normally would. My schedule will be quite hectic over the next little bit, but I will do everything in my power to respond to every single one of you as time allows.

I was so sorry to hear what had happened with Kennedy.

I'm glad you got to meet her, and to hold her, though it was so far from long enough. She was and is loved, and I know she felt that.

I wish there were words to say.

Dear Trevor and Lois,

I heard the news from Lisa today at school. We are so sad for your loss. Although you only knew Kennedy for such a short time I'm sure she has touched your hearts and you will never be the same again.

We grieve with you as you come to terms with this disappointment. We pray that you will find the strength you need in the family and friends who care about you so much. Be comforted that she is still yours, although she is not with you, and that there is hope for brighter days ahead.

Dear Trevor and Lois
I'm not very proficient on the computer so the comment I wrote several weeks ago didn't get to you as I didn't know how to send it.Our deepest condolences on the loss of little Kennedy Olivia (what a beautiful name).I'd like to borrow a few lines from a song writer where he pens the lines "God is there for all our hellos and goodbyes, God is there for all the days that end in why." Having experienced the tragic loss of our little granddaughter Riley Adrianna 8 years ago,we know first hand the pain and grief that accompanies such a loss as you've just experienced. As I was praying for you the other evening, the picture of our Riley welcoming your little Kennedy into heaven flashed into my mind's eye.You are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.God is faithful even when we have questions and no answers. Keep leaning on Him, He will not leave you even in your darkest hours.
Love and prayers

Lois and Trevor,

"As we remember" is a tribute to the memories we hold for Kennedy. Shannon has added more pages to the album for your special girl. We will be bringing it out to Manitoba in July for you.

Take a look at the album on our blog... walls1234.blogspot.com
