I miss Vegas - we had a great time, including things like visiting the Bodies Exhibit and Cirque Du Soliel KA (what an amazing show!!). The main purpose of the trip was to attend a series of photography seminars (WPPI), and a massive trade show for photography related products and services world wide. While I would have loved to have done more vacation type things, the convention kept me super busy. I think we did a great job of balancing vacation and business.
We stayed at Bally's, as the convention and tradeshow was taking place in both Bally's and Paris.

This building was right beside the Paris hotel, and had an interesting look. I think every one of the 11,000 international photographers at the convention took a shot of these lights in one way or another :-)
One of my favorite things about traveling is eating out! We visited many restaurants - some of my favorites were Cheesecake Factory, P.F.Changs, and Maggianos. Then one day for lunch, we went over to Bill's Casino for a cheap steak. Well, in case you are wondering, cheap steak is not very good. Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for. If you like good steak - stay away from the cheap stuff :-)
This is a shot of our server - he didn't know the difference between a lemon and a lime. I wanted a lemon, and Jeremy wanted a lime.
Jeremy finally said "THE GREEN ONE!!! NOT THE YELLOW ONE!!!". Here's him getting a bit frustrated.
The server must have been color blind, cause we both got the YELLOW ONE :-) LOL.
One great thing about being in a place with so many photographer friends, is that we get to take cool pictures of each other. Here's some shots that my buddy Jeremy took of Lois and I.

So, I of course return the favor and take a bunch of cool shot of Jeremy :-) Here's one of them...
I love shadows and reflections - how could I resist taking this uber cool shadow shot? LOVE IT!
And a couple of Rock'n'Roll shots taken of me...

I love when Lois co-operates and lets me photograph her. Isn't she gorgeous?

There's always some time for some romantic shots...right?
Being that our daughter Kennedy has been on our mind 24/7, we only thought it was fitting to get some shots to show it.
Isn't this the coolest look? I gotta get some ladies glasses like that :-)
On March 18, Lois and I did something really fun, but I'll be posting some shots from that event in a follow up post.
STAY TUNED!!
